The Trangia base was much more stable than the normal Nova+ base and I had no problems with wind. Boiling a full kettle (about 0.9l) took around 4mins. I'm hoping to do a comparison of boil times for meths (using the Trangia burner), petrol (using the Nova+ burner) and hexamine tablets (using a drinks can burner) in the near future.
